In the biennial Verona Bus & Bus Show, the most
important event of the passenger transport industry in Italy, HISPANO is
introducing the DIVO Touring Coach, a vehicle that addresses the long distance
regular and tourist transport segments. This product will be exhibited at the
Hispano Bus Italia booth, recently appointed distributor of the HISPANO coach
range in Italy.
From 15th till 19th November, the main players of the
European and Italian Bus industry are introducing their latest solutions for
the bus industry at Fiera de Verona Exhibition Center.
After presenting the first re-style of the DIVO Touring
Coach, last October in Busworld Kortrijk, HISPANO, through its distributor in
Italy, Hispano Bus Italia, will be showcasing another vehicle built for regular
and tourist services.
This presentation is part of the growth strategic plan of
the Spanish bodybuilder focused in developing the European, North African and
the Middle East markets with buses and coaches manufactured in both Spain and
Morocco.

HISPANO has ambitious plans for Italy
Speaking at the occasion, Gerardo Múgica, Chief Executive Officer HISPANO,
states that "The Italian bus market is very similar to the Spanish one.
Lots of Spanish vehicles can be seen on the road and, in our case, we have a
long experience in exporting intercity coaches to Italy in the recent past. We
also have a strong link with the local offices of the main European Chassis
Manufacturers and have efficiently developed aftersales services for the
Italian operators. In fact, in the last seven years, we have successfully
delivered more than 400 units. Alexandre Dembovich, Sales Director says,
"Our aim is to establish a regular operation in Italy, both in the
Intercity and the Touring segments with our DIVO Coach range. Hispano Bus
Italia will help us develop certain segments of the Italian market, but we do
not discard sales operations through alternative distribution channels".
