HISPANO  unveils a new interior concept for the DIVO Touring Range at FIAA Show in Madrid.

In a Press Conference held today at the stand of Hispano Carrocera, the Chief Executive Officer of Hispano Carrocera, Mr. Gerardo Múgica, and Alexandre Dembovich, Sales Director, presented a completely re-styled interior concept of the DIVO Touring Coach and the latest habit citybus range, including a CNG version that was showcased as a premiere. Ujjal Mukherjee from Tata Motors India commented on the latest joint projects between Hispano and the Indian manufacturer.

FIAA Exhibition, which is being held in Madrid (Spain) from November 14-17, 2006 at the IFEMA Exhibition Centre, is one of the largest specialized events of the Bus & Coach industry in the World. At the booth 10C302 of Hall 10, with close to 800sqm., Hispano is presenting its latest product range for the Passenger Transport Industry..


DIVO: NEW INTERIOR CONCEPT

The evolution of the exterior of the coach presented at the last edition of Busworld in Kortrijk, which has received numerous positive reactions from the market, is now followed by a revolutionary interior design of the driver's area as well as the saloon.

The driver's post has been totally renovated taking into account the following criteria:

  • DESIGN: Using modern lines and new materials in the dashboard and the entrance of the coach, all adapted from the automotive industry. 

  • ERGONOMY: The control panel and the fridge have been relocated. Also, new spaces for personal belongings have been created offering better comfort and accessibility.

  • EASY MAINTENANCE: Selected materials are easy to clean and maintain, allowing a perfect state of the dashboard.

  • POLYVALENCE: From the very beginning, the dashboard has been designed taking into account the different Euro4 chassis characteristics from the main European manufacturers.

New Interior Atmospheres 

It has been re-defined the chromatic range for the saloon of the DIVO by means of introducing 4 new atmospheres always aimed to make passenger's journeys more comfortable and attractive. Hispano has count with an external team specialized in automotive industry interior design.

Mónaco Atmosphere
Sportive and glamorous, this is the proposal for creating a F1 atmosphere.
Berlín Atmosphere  
Modernist and dynamic like one of the most avant-garde European cities.
Milano Atmosphere     
Inspired on the elegant Italian style.
Texas Atmosphere     
Comfort for a free spirit space.

HABIT CNG PROTOTYPE

Along with the developments of our body models to the new Euro4 chassis from the most relevant European chassis brands, Hispano presents at FIAA its first Iveco Cityclass CNG habit vehicle, thus increasing the offer of environmental-friendly buses.

Applus+ IDIADA congratulated Hispano for the results obtained in the tests performed on the vehicle's refrigeration system, which proved to be amongst the best of the sector allowing for a greater vehicle's performance.

Hispano's current order portfolio for CNG vehicles shows that numerous public transport companies are increasingly interested on products that are profitable and that keep up with the latest environmental regulations.

Additionally, and as a premiere at FIAA, Hispano will present a habit body on Scania N230UB 4x2 chassis. In 2006, Hispano has widened its chassis/body combination offer including the Scania's range.
